Life, Dream, and Enlightenment
Within the rich philosophical framework of Zhuangzi, the notions of "life" and "dream," as well as "awakening" and "waking," are not simply set in opposition but are intricately interwoven, existing as states that are both interconnected and mutually defining. Drawing from his deep well of thought, concepts such as 'free wandering' , 'Discussion on Making All Things Equal' , 'life and death as a dream' , and 'the natural way of the Dao' , serve as a fountain of inspiration for this musical composition.
This work embraces the expressive force of music to narrate the journey of personal awakening and the search for understanding within life's expansive story. It embarks on an in-depth philosophical exploration of the nature of existence, voicing a profound aspiration to transcend the limitations of the physical world in the quest for spiritual freedom.
